Red Sox Vs. Tigers Lineups: Rob Refsnyder Starts Against Lefty

The Red Sox look to salvage one win from their disappointing series against the Detroit Tigers, closing things out on Wednesday at Comerica Park.

Rob Refsnyder will aid in that effort, though it won’t be easy.

Detroit will send reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal to the mound. Boston will counter with rookie Hunter Dobbins, as well as a lineup that boasts seven consecutive right-handed options to round out the order.

Refsnyder will be joined by Trevor Story as returnees to the lineup, while Wilyer Abreu and David Hamilton get the night off. Refsnyder hasn’t appeared in a game since May 1.

The Red Sox and Tigers are scheduled to take the field at 6:40 p.m. ET. NESN will have full coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.
