Ekitike is only 22 years old and fits perfectly in Chelsea’s hiring criteria. He has been superb this season for German club. In the 47 matches across all competitions, he has scored 22 goals and picked 11 assists. The Blues are joined by multiple clubs across whole Europe.
Joining Chelsea will be a huge step up in the career of Ekitike. He will be desperate to prove himself on the highest stage. The Blues are amongst the top clubs across whole Europe. Playing for them will be very tempting and hence convincing Ekitike will not be very hard for the Blues.
However, Ekitike is not the top priority of the West London club. Firstly, they are keen to sign Liam Delap. But, the English striker is leaning towards Man United. Later, the Blues also have interest in Gyokeres who is heavily linked to Arsenal. Hence, the Blues can view Ekitike as an alternative option.
