[Yamal broke the deadlock with a truly stunning strike](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/5/15/24431156/watch-lamine-yamal-trolls-jude-bellingham-after-scoring-golazo-for-barcelona-vs-espanyol) that flew into the top corner and gave goalkeeper Joan Garcia no chance.
Pedri wasn’t too surprised at the effort and revealed how Yamal has been practising hard and even struck two similar goals in the warm-up ahead of kick-off.

Thursday’s match was Pedri’s 200th for Barcelona and he spoke about his pride at hitting the landmark after the game.
