At least 13 people were injured when a car drove into a crowd of people ahead of Barcelona's match at local rival Espanyol on Thursday.
Catalonia’s emergency services said 13 people were being treated for injuries, though none were serious. Four people were hospitalized with “less than serious” injuries.
Local police said that a suspect had been arrested.
The game was briefly stopped early in the first half. ESPN reported that fans behind the goal informed Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García that there had been an incident and the game should be halted.
The stadium loudspeaker then announced that the danger had been cleared and the match was allowed to resume. Barcelona would win the game 2-0, clinching the La Liga title in the process.

Video of the scene outside the RCDE Stadium showed a white sedan surrounded by a group of fans. The car then quickly accelerated to exit the scene, striking an unknown number of fans in its path.
Despite the scary scene, Salvador Illa, the president of the Government of Catalonia told Spanish TV channel Movistar Plus that there were no serious injuries.
"It was an accident, some people were injured, but not seriously. There are no major incidents to report," Illa said.
