Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have been making headlines all off-season, and not for reasons that you would expect. Not many fans anticipated one of the greatest head coaches in NFL History having his girlfriend be an off-the-field distraction the way Hudson has been.
Recently, Hudson issued a public apology, but not for what you would think.

There is an “apology” from Hudson for what she did:
Hudson’s relationship with Bill Belichick has turned her into a polarizing figure, and the beauty pageant queen acknowledged that it hasn’t always been easy.
In a letter obtained by The Washington Post, the 23-year-old wrote a farewell message to her BlackOut cheerleading team in December 2024, explaining she’d be stepping away from activities.
“During this time, I have faced a slow, exterior erasure of my strong, individual identity,” Jordon Hudson said.
“I can’t thank you [enough] for helping keep that intact by embracing me, for me. It is so difficult for me to give up my time with you, because I feel like I am giving up a part of myself in the process.”
The Maine native, who’s dating UNC coach Bill Belichick, cited scheduling conflicts and commitment as two reasons why she couldn’t remain on the team.

“At times, I am sure to many of you it may have felt at some point this season that I was selfishly putting my needs above the needs of the team, or of my teammates,” she writes.
While she notes the “perspective is not entirely correct,” she stresses her “actions were not guided by selfishness.”
“I hope you can all understand that my absences were symptomatic of my commitment to put the needs of my other ‘(teams)’ above my own needs for recreation,” Hudson continues. “Selfishly, I always would have preferred to be in the gym, with all of you, doing what I love: cheerleading.”
Jordon Hudson, who recently competed in Miss Maine USA, then went on to share “the news “directly from her before explaining why she’d be leaving the cheer team. She cited her “inability to prioritize BlackOut” as her reason for departure.
