The Cleveland Browns took a shot at the Pittsburgh Steelers on social media before their schedule release, likening Pittsburgh to a ‘dumpster fire’ in their post.
The Browns and Steelers have reignited a rivalry over the last five years after the Browns started to pull themselves out of the constant rebuilding they had been doing. Since Myles Garrett came to Cleveland, the series has been much more even, including a series split last year.
Of course, this year, the Browns will have a four-way competition at quarterback, including two rookies, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. They are coming off a season that landed them the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Cleveland’s video was even taken in Pittsburgh in 2018 by KDKA on Route 51 during a flood.
The Browns went 3-14 last year. Even though the Steelers have struggled to live up to their lofty expectations, they have made the playoffs four of the last five seasons.
Meanwhile, the Chargers got some shots in at the Steelers, too, poking at the Steelers’ inability to get past the Wild Card Round. They joked about the Steelers’ 9-8 and 10-7 finishes and their consistent wait for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to decide his next landing spot.
