After an eventful campaign at youth level it is time to reflect on some of the standout performers.

**Best U21 player – Salah Eddine**

Khayon Edwards and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji both contributed with plenty of goals, while Michal Rosiak made excellent progress as he showed that he is capable of performing well at right-back or in midfield.

Perhaps the standout player overall, though, was Salah-Eddine, with the midfielder making some superb passes at times while he contributed with six goals and seven assists in Premier League 2.

**Best second year – Dan Casey**

There was plenty of competition for this award, too, with Will Sweet and Louie Copley often performing to a very high standard.

Dan Casey enjoyed a hugely productive season with 18 league goals for the U18s, while he also featured in the UEFA Youth League and for the U21s. Casey also showed his versatility throughout the campaign as he made an impact in midfield, up front and out wide.

**Best first year – Andre Harriman-Annous**

Talented forward Harriman-Annous impressed at various levels. He scored eight goals in the league for the U18s and also contributed in the FA Youth Cup.

Furthermore, Harriman-Annous scored in the UEFA Youth League, the EFL Trophy, Premier League 2 and the U18 Premier League Cup.

**Best schoolboy – Max Dowman**

Marli Salmon deserves much praise for a superb campaign, but what Max Dowman accomplished while technically being an U15 player was incredible.

In addition to becoming the youngest ever player in Premier League 2 history at the age of 14, Dowman was a key source of inspiration for Arsenal U18s and ended the season with 15 goals in as many league appearances at that level, while he also often captained the team. Furthermore, he also scored in the UEFA Youth League.

**Best loanee – Fabio Vieira**

This award is usually given to an academy loanee but there weren’t many such moves this season.

In terms of first-team players out on loan Fabio Vieira has probably been the most consistent performer and has contributed with four goals and four assists for Porto in the league. Nuno Tavares started the season extremely well at Lazio with eight assists in his first eight league games but Vieira has shown greater consistency.
