The NFL is giving fans another reason to celebrate this holiday season, announcing a Christmas Day tripleheader headlined by marquee divisional matchups and streaming exclusives.
Kicking off the festivities at 1 p.m. ET, the Dallas Cowboys will travel to face their NFC East rivals, the Washington Commanders. At 4:30 p.m. ET, the Detroit Lions head to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings in a key NFC North clash. Both games will stream exclusively on Netflix, marking a major move for the platform into live NFL programming.
The holiday slate concludes with a primetime showdown between Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET. That AFC West battle will stream on Prime Video as part of the service’s “Thursday Night Football” package.
This marks the NFL’s latest expansion of holiday programming after its Thanksgiving Day tripleheader was also confirmed. That lineup opens with the Green Bay Packers visiting the Lions, followed by the Chiefs at the Cowboys, and wraps with a divisional battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
With games now scheduled across both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the league continues to solidify its holiday dominance. Between traditional rivalries and playoff implications, fans can expect plenty of fireworks both on and off the field.
