Thursday night marked one of the biggest events of the year for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
His teammate, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, made an impression on everyone in attendance with a brash admission about his popstar girlfriend.
It was gala night at Mahomes' charity event, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Vegas Golf Classic. According to its website, the foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children, focusing on "health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes."
Unlike the 2024 edition, Swift did not attend alongside Kelce this year. The generous hitmaker still had a huge impact, donating an autographed guitar that was auctioned off at the gala.
During the bidding process, Kelce had to make sure everyone knew one thing. His public message was recorded by an attendee and went viral Thursday night.

Kelce had a numbered paddle in his hand, appearing to have already made a large bid on the guitar. As the price went up, he turned to the crowd and revealed his game.
"I just realized I have that already," said the 35-year-old NFL star.
His unsurprising admission got the attention of the crowd. Among the in-person attendees Thursday night were several members of the Mahomes family including Patrick's wife, Brittany Mahomes, and brother, Jackson Mahomes, who also celebrated his birthday.
The bigger reaction came on social media as the clip circulated among Swifties and NFL fans alike.
"Widows be damned, this man is funny," said one popular reply to the video on X.
"Awww cuteeeee," said another.
"oh this (expletive) is a show off," joked one user.
"He’s flexing," one Swift fan wrote. "I’m so jealous of him."
Kelce and Swift's contributions were just one part of a hugely successful night for Mahomes. Several notable active and former NFL players stopped by as well, such as former Chiefs players Mitchell Schwartz, Jamaal Charles and Juju Smith-Schuster.
Other pro and college football legends like Johnny Manziel, Matt Leinart and Von Miller graced the charity event as well.
