The NFL released its 2025 schedule with a televised event on Wednesday night, a show that indicates just how big of a deal the NFL is regardless of what time of year it is.
The San Francisco 49ers, like the rest of the league, are now aware of not only who they'll play and where those games will take place, but when those games will happen, which can provide teams some indication of how they'll handle key elements like travel.
With the schedule out, it's beginning to feel like the NFL season is nearly here, even if Week 1 is still months away, and so the Niner Noise Podcast is here to take a game-by-game deep dive into San Francisco's schedule.
Your hosts, Robert Morrison and Akshaj Dwivedula, begin with a discussion of the strange situation with former Cardinals and Chiefs offensive tackle DJ Humphries, who the 49ers appeared to have agreed to terms with a few weeks ago, adding depth to their offensive line group after not selecting one until late in April's NFL draft.

The conversation then turns to the reported sale of 6 percenof the 49ers at a whopping $8.5 billion valuation. There isn't much to say about that other than simply, "wow, that's a lot of cash."
From there, the bulk of the episode turns to looking at the 49ers' schedule, both from a general perspective and also looking at how the season could turn out on a game-by-game basis.
Your hosts reflect on the good and bad of the schedule, with a focus on travel, how it stacks up against the rest of the NFC West, whether they get the proper advantages of a last-place schedule, and more.
Finally, they go through each week and pick winners and losers, an exercise that feels impossible to know in mid-May, but gives a sense of where each of your hosts is on the 49ers as we get closer and closer to training camp.
