Browns get another draft pick signed, 3 of 7 have deals done

In many ways, the schedule slows down a bit when it comes to NFL news now that the 2025 NFL schedule has come out. The league made it clear their low expectations for the Cleveland Browns with how the schedule was put together, but the Browns are hoping that their 7-person NFL draft class and key offseason moves will help prove the schedule makers wrong.

Getting those draft picks signed is generally an easy process, but the Houston Texans decision with their second-round pick could create a bit of a holdup for one of Cleveland’s selections.

During rookie minicamp, the Browns got contracts completed with LB Carson Schwesinger and RB Dylan Sampson, with the words “fully guaranteed” once again coming into play for the team. Now, with offseason activities in progress, TE Harold Fannin Jr. inked his deal as well:

The Canton native and Bowling Green product has a chance to contribute right away after leading the country with 117 receptions last year. At 6’3” and 241 pounds, Fannin has all of the athletic traits to be an impact player for Cleveland quickly.

DT Mason Graham is the team’s first pick and remains unsigned. RB Quinshon Judkins, selected a few picks after Schwesinger, is also unsigned and could be most impacted by the Texans decision.

QBs Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are the other two unsigned Browns draft picks.
