Taylor Swift Praised for What She Did for Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Fourteen-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift has a reputation for being quite generous — with her time, her money, and her philanthropy.

Swift made headlines last year when she gave out large cash bonuses to everyone who worked on her two-year-long “Eras Tour” and to some of the workers at Arrowhead Stadium, where she would frequent to support boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

She’s also been known to go above and beyond for some of the Chiefs wives and girlfriends, like the baby gift she sent Chariah Gordon, the fiancee of former Chiefs and current Green Bay Packers receiver Mecole Hardman, and the hand-knit baby blanket she gifted Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

This time, Swift is in the news for something she did for Mahomes Thursday night at his 15 and the Mahomes Foundation charity event.

The “Blank Space” singer donated an autographed guitar to be auctioned off for charity. Swift was applauded on social media for the gesture, which ultimately sold for $15,000 for Mahomes’ charity, despite not attending the event in person.

“Awww! Even though she didn’t go she still donated a guitar,” one fan wrote.

“Taycharitable,” another added.

“Sweet of Taylor 🫶🏼,” a third fan commented.

“Taylor donated an autographed guitar to auction off for the 15 and the Mahomies foundation. She's literally the best. ❤️💛” one user exclaimed.

“Taylor’s heartfelt gift of an autographed TTPD guitar shines bright, supporting the Mahomies Foundation Gala 2025 with love,” remarked another user.

“[That’s] the only original signed TTPD (“The Tortured Poets Department”) guitar,” another fan pointed out.

Though Swift and Kelce have been staying out of the public spotlight post-Super Bowl, she is expected to attend most, if not all, of the Chiefs home games at Arrowhead Stadium this season.
