Barcelona director Rafa Yuste has confirmed [full agreement has now been reached with manager Hansi Flick over a new contract at the club](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/4/29/24419235/hansi-flick-reaches-agreement-in-principle-over-new-barcelona-deal-until-2027).
Flick and Barcelona have been in talks for a little while over an extension and and it is now almost ready to be made official.
“We could announce Hansi Flick’s new contract next week. Everything is sealed until June 2027,” he told Cadena Ser.
The new contract is more good news for Barcelona as they celebrate a successful season that has brought La Liga, Copa de Rey and Super Cup titles.

Flick has also made it pretty clear he loves being at Barcelona and spoke after the team’s title win about the great spirit in the camp.
“You feel like a family, it’s fantastic. Everyone in this club has his job and he’s doing great with a lot of passion, with a really good attitude and mentality,” he said.
“Everyone knows how important this is for this club, for this team, and this helps me a lot to reach our goals. And of course, the players, the atmosphere in the dressing room. This is so great. I never had this before, it’s really fantastic to see this.
“Everyone takes care of each other, and it’s really good to see. So this is maybe in a small sentence, I think it’s unique.”
