Liam Coen takes the reins in Duval with hopes of sparking a turnaround, but the road ahead won't be easy with the locker room in need of leadership and a fanbase that's seen this movie before.
With the full schedule now revealed, it's time to break down each matchup and predict whether this team is ready to hunt or just survive.

Week 1: vs Carolina Panthers
Prediction: Win (1-0)
The Jaguars open the season at home against the Carolina Panthers. Jacksonville's defense will be tested by Carolina's revamped offense featuring rookie WR first-round pick, Tetairoa McMillan, and former first overall pick, QB Bryce Young. This will be a tougher matchup than many anticipate, with question marks about the Jags' offensive line and quarterback consistency. Securing a win in the opener may prove to be challenging, but I have the Jaguars picking up the W here.
Week 2: at Cincinnati Bengals
Prediction: Loss (1-1)
In Week 2, the Jaguars travel to face the Bengals, a team that, despite a 9-8 record last season, remains a formidable opponent. The Bengals possess perhaps the most explosive offense in the NFL. Led by quarterback Joe Burrow, Cincinnati poses a significant challenge to Jacksonville. This game will be one to get your popcorn ready to watch Travis Hunter, Brian Thomas Jr., Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins light up the field. Given the Jaguars' changing of the guard with a new system, this matchup looks to expose lingering weaknesses on defense and results in the Jags' first loss of the season.
Week 3: vs Houston Texans
Prediction: Loss (1-2)
Duval will host the Texans in Week 3. Houston has quietly reloaded their offense and looks to recapture their 2023 form. Franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal with Joe Mixon, Nico Collins, Jaylen Noel, Jayden Higgins, and former Jaguar Christian Kirk. Unless The Golden Giraffe, aka Trevor Lawrence, can keep pace, this game could turn ugly rather quickly. A frustrating loss at home.
Week 4: at San Francisco 49ers Prediction: Loss (1-3)
The Jaguars face the daunting task of traveling to the West Coast on the road to play the 49ers. Despite their 2024 record of 6-11, they still possess a formidable roster and coaching staff that has consistently competed at a high level. Jacksonville's inconsistencies on both sides of the ball continue, leading to another tough loss.
Week 5: vs Kansas City Chiefs (Monday Night Football)
Prediction: Loss (1-4)
The Jaguars' first and only primetime appearance of the season comes against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs found themselves on the losing end in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, but look to continue their dominance of the AFC in 2025. This game will be no different. Playing under the national spotlight of Monday Night Football, Jacksonville can't rise to the occasion. Racking up their fourth straight loss.
Week 6: vs Seattle Seahawks
Prediction: Loss (1-5)
After a disappointing performance at home under the bright lights, the Jaguars will look to rebound against the Seattle Seahawks. While Jacksonville has struggled early, this is the kind of game they could steal-especially if the defense shows up and the offense can avoid self-inflicted wounds. New Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold steals one to drop the Jaguars to 1-5.
Week 7: vs Los Angeles Rams (London)
Prediction: Loss (1-6)
The Jaguars head across the pond to London to play the Los Angeles Rams at Wembley Stadium. What is considered a "home" game overseas, but nothing feels favorable about this matchup. The Rams are a complete team with a seasoned, Super Bowl-winning coach who knows how to exploit mismatches. Unless Jacksonville's offense suddenly finds a new quarterback, this will be a long flight back to the states. Jacksonville enters the bye week at 1-6.
Week 8: Bye Week
The bye week could not have come at a better time for the struggling Jaguars. This is where the new regime will be tested in what moves they make to turn this season around.
Week 9: at Las Vegas Raiders
Prediction: Loss (1-7)
The Raiders' new physical style under superstar rookie running back Ashton Jeanty and aggressive defense will exploit a vulnerable Jaguars team. Another loss looms unless the Jaguars can pull off a much-needed spark.
Week 10: at Houston Texans
Prediction: Loss (1-8)
Facing the Texans again, this time in Houston, the Jaguars encounter a team that is hungry and can smell the playoffs. Jacksonville's inability to perform consistently for 4 quarters results in a backbreaking road loss in Houston.
Week 11: vs Los Angeles Chargers
Prediction: Loss (1-9)
The hits just keep on coming with a lopsided matchup vs the LA Chargers. The Chargers have one of the talented rosters in the league and are led by the always charismatic Jim Harbaugh. The Jags are simply overmatched in this one, and things could get ugly rather quickly. Nine consecutive losses and rumblings begin to stir about The Golden Giraffe being benched.
Week 12: at Arizona Cardinals
Prediction: Loss (1-10)
The Jaguars travel out west to play the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are a much improved team, bringing back former Jags Mayor of Sackonville, Calais Campbell. This game could go either way and should be a fun one to watch with young superstars Marvin Harrison Jr. and Travis Hunter going at it. In the end, it comes down to quarterback play, and that gives the edge to the Cardinals in a close one, bringing the Jaguars to ten consecutive losses.
Week 13: at Tennessee Titans
Prediction: Loss (1-11)
Facing a division rival on the road, the Jaguars encounter a Tennessee Titans team that is young, hungry, and with a new prized franchise quarterback, Cam Ward, at the helm. Ward could have the same impact that Jayden Daniels provided Washington last season, and that's bad news for Jags fans expecting a win here. Tennessee continues to be a surprise team in the AFC and easily defeats Jacksonville to stay alive in the playoff hunt.
Week 14: vs Indianapolis Colts
Prediction: Loss (1-12)
For 10 straight seasons, the Colts have left Duval with a loss. This has been circled as a W on the Jags calendar for years, but not this season. The Colts finally get the monkey off their back and break the streak. Indy reloaded their team with a very good offseason. More than just rumblings come out in Duval about benching The Golden Giraffe.
Week 15: vs New York Jets
Prediction: Win (2-12)
With 12 straight losses, Liam Coen decides to finally bench Lawrence. Nick Mullens gets the start here and provides a much-needed spark to an offense that has been held back, some might even say limited, by its quarterback play. The Jags finally get their second win of the season.
Week 16: at Denver Broncos
Prediction: Loss (2-13)
The magic from Nick Mullens comes to an abrupt halt just one week later as the Jaguars once again travel out west to play the Denver Broncos. The Broncos, under Sean Payton and led by second-year quarterback Bo Nix, are just too talented for the Jags to compete with. Jacksonville falls to 2-13.
Week 17: at Indianapolis Colts
Prediction: Loss (2-14)
The Jaguars visit Lucas Oil Stadium to face the Indianapolis Colts in their road finale. The Colts are fighting by the skin of their teeth to stay alive in the Wild Card picture and pull the sweep on Duval. The tides have turned in this rivalry.
Week 18: vs Tennessee Titans
Prediction: Win (3-14)
The Jaguars conclude their underwhelming 2025 season with a win at home against the Tennessee Titans. This divisional matchup offers the Jaguars an opportunity to play spoiler to the Titans' playoff hopes and end the season on a positive note. Undrafted rookie free agent, Seth Henigan, gets the start at quarterback for Jacksonville and shows why Jon Gruden personally reached out to Liam Coen to gush over Henigan.
Final Record Prediction: 3-14
The Jaguars face a challenging schedule in 2025, with over 29,000 miles logged for traveling. They will also go through a four-week stretch that keeps them from playing at home. While there are some games that could go either way, history tells us which way those games will go. This is where a roster led by new head coach Liam Coen and constructed by new general manager James Gladstone and new executive vice president Tony Boselli comes in. There has been a ton of turnover in Duval, and this season will truly show if the moves made were the right ones or the wrong ones.
