The newly-crowned champions of La Liga play their final home game of the season this weekend as Barcelona welcome Villarreal to the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium.
The Catalans clinched the title on Thursday with a win over Espanyol and will lift the trophy after their meeting with the Yellow Submarine, who come into this one needing a win to secure a Champions League spot next season.
Here’s how we think Hansi Flick will line up his troops for Sunday’s battle.

Barça spent all of Friday celebrating the title with a bus parade through the Catalan capital, and they have nothing to play for in this one as the only thing that matters is the post-match trophy party.
Flick will likely take into account how long and exhausting this season has been and rest most of his big name players, so we are expecting a heavily rotated side on Sunday. Marc-André ter Stegen is expected to start in goal, with Héctor Fort at right-back, Alejandro Balde at left-back, and Iñigo Martínez returning from suspension to partner Pau Cubarsí at center-back.

Eric García has finished the season as a crucial piece of the team thanks to his versatility, and we think he’ll remain in the lineup and start in midfield this time, with Gavi as his double pivot partner so Frenkie de Jong and Pedri can get a much-deserved rest.
Fermín López scored against Espanyol to guarantee the title, and his amazing form will likely be rewarded with a start in this one in place of Dani Olmo.

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha have given absolutely everything to the cause this season, and they certainly deserve a rest in this one. We think Pau Víctor and Ansu Fati will replace them on the wings, with Robert Lewandowski leading the line.
Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Fort, Cubarsí, Iñigo, Balde; Eric, Gavi; Víctor, Fermín, Fati; Lewandowski (4-2-3-1)
