If you're still contending with May's Xbox server closures, unfortunately, it's time to start thinking about the next wave of shutdowns coming next month. Here is a quick overview of all the games that will be impacted by a server closure in June 2025.
XDefiant
Despite only launching in May 2024, Ubisoft announced it was shutting down its free-to-play shooter on June 3, 2025, as the game did not "attract and retain enough players" to compete against other free first-person shooters.
As XDefiant is an online-only game, all 13 achievements will be discontinued once the server closure strikes. If you are thinking about going for the 1,000G, the completion here takes around 30 hours — that being said XDefiant has already been delisted from the Xbox store.
Resident Evil Re:Verse
Resident Evil Re:Verse, a standalone title that was once bundled with Resident Evil Village, will lose online support on June 29, 2025. In the server closure announcement, Capcom said it had reached a "new turning point for the series" and felt that "Resident Evil Re:Verse had served its original, celebratory purpose admirably."
Much like XDefiant, Resident Evil Re:Verse is an online-only game, so all achievements here will be discontinued following the server shutdown. Madden NFL 21
Both the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions of Madden NFL 21 lose online support on June 30, 2025, so if you want the 2,000G on offer here, you're going to want to crack through each version's achievement list as soon as possible.
