Caleb Williams' New List of Dietary Restrictions Makes Waves on Social Media

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a great season for a rookie statistics-wise in 2024, compiling over 3,500 passing yards and 20 touchdowns against six interceptions with former coach Matt Eberflus' team.

Williams did not deliver the amount of wins that Bears fans expected as the Windy City's only NFL team finished with 5 wins against 12 losses on the season.

Yesterday, former NFL MVP Boomer Esiason, formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals, took Williams to task over comments in a recent book titled 'American Kings: Biography of the Quarterback," during which Esiason told Williams to "shut his piehole" over fears that he wouldn't be able to win with the Bears prior to being drafted.

On Saturday, Williams' latest dietary restrictions were revealed by an NFL reporter who revealed the impressive steps the former USC Trojan is taking to improve his body composition and energy levels.

"Legendary: Last season, Bears star QB Caleb Williams began Tom Brady's TB12 diet: Since starting the diet, he can no longer eat...Dairy, Milk, cheese, yogurt or ice cream," reporter Dov Kleiman wrote on X.

Williams also must avoid tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, potatoes, beans, lentils, chickpeas, soy products and several other foods if he hopes to follow the TB12 diet to a tee this offseason and beyond.

The list was viewed over 217,000 times on social media.

"Then what the hell is he eating?" one fan said.

"Mmmm delicious bowls of ice," another added.

"This is really something we should all do but can't afford," another said.

Brady won seven Lombardi trophies combined with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers under coaches Bill Belichick and Bruce Arians while making the diet famous through his books, audiobooks and media interviews.

Williams has been roundly criticized since entering the league with sky high expectations out of Lincoln Riley's USC program.

The Bears added more weapons for Williams this offseason including former Michigan tight end Colston Loveland with the 10th pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
