As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles have one of the toughest schedules in the league. A rematch in Super Bowl LIX, multiple top division games, and a showdown against some of the league's best teams all wait in store for the champs.
As exciting as some of these games are, they pale in comparison to one particular game on the docket in 2025.
And it's the one that every Eagles fan is circling.
With former head coach Chip Kelly being hired by the Las Vegas Raiders to run their offense, the Eagles will see their former leader for the first time since he was fired by the organization a week before the 2015 season finale.
And there's good reason for Eagles fans to want blood in that game.
Kelly took over for Andy Reid as Eagles head coach in 2013 and went 26-21 in three seasons. While his up-tempo offense turned heads at the start, he alienated his players, and created a toxic work environment in the locker room.
So much so that fan favorites DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, and Nick Foles were all shipped out in a two year span. The fanbase has never forgiven him for that reality either.
With Kelly back in the NFL calling plays on offense, Eagle fans around the globe are circling that showdown with the Raiders as soon as they possibly can.
They are looking to finally get back at the toxic coach who blew up what many believed to be one of the top rosters in football.
