Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres is staying tight-lipped on his future after his latest goal helped Sporting CP to win the Liga Portugal on Saturday.

Going into the final day of the Portuguese league season, Sporting CP knew that a win would secure them the title.
Having drawn with Benfica last weekend, they were level on points with their penultimate opponents, but with the head-to-head advantage. As long as Sporting won, it wouldn’t matter what Benfica did in a tough game against fourth-place Braga.
Sporting were facing Vitoria Guimaraes, and they secured a 2-0 victory in part thanks to yet another Viktor Gyokeres goal, his 39th in 33 league games this season.

After the game, Gyokeres insisted he didn’t know if it would be his last home match with Sporting.
“It’s football, I’m still here,” Gyokeres said (via Manchester Evening News and Fabrizio Romano). “I don’t know what’s going to happen. Nobody can predict the future.
“I’m focused now on celebrating this title and [trying to] win the Taça de Portugal.”
The Portuguese cup final takes place next Sunday, with Sporting taking on Benfica once again. After that, Gyokeres will likely turn his attentions to his next club.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the striker is preparing his exit, with a £60m transfer expected this summer.
Recent reports suggest Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is a huge admirer of the Sweden international, though the Gunners haven’t made a bid just yet. They’re aware of the importance of Sporting’s final matches, and didn’t want to cause a distraction.
Yet Arsenal have made their interest known to the player’s camp, offering a net salary of £7m a year over four or five years.
Alex Crook recently reported for talkSPORT that Arsenal’s Premier League rivals believe the Gunners are the favourites for Gyokeres, and that the player favours the transfer to north London. But Manchester United are in the race too, particularly given Gyokeres’ previous spell under Ruben Amorim.
