Browns schedule makes it tough for team to make playoffs: Crowquill

Ted Crow

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns just finished up rookie minicamp and have no idea who their starting quarterback will be, but they do know which team that to-be-determined quarterback will face, because the NFL recently released the schedules for this season.

The Browns schedule is one of the tougher ones, especially the first six games. They open at home against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Then it’s off to Baltimore to play the Ravens. Then they’re home versus the Green Bay Packers. The Detroit Lions play host to the Browns next and then Cleveland travels across the pond to London to host the Minnesota Vikings. Next the Browns play the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Cleveland comes home to play Miami and then New England away leading up to the bye week.

Unless Cleveland finds a quarterback, it’s hard to imagine them winning more than two games before the bye in Week 9, which means they’d probably have to win eight games after the bye to make the playoffs.
