Spanish outlet AS report that Rodrygo’s situation is “delicate” right now, particularly with the incoming Xabi Alonso reportedly planning to put a lot of faith in Arda Guler.
AS write that Arsenal are among the clubs willing to step up the bidding for Rodrygo this summer, but the door isn’t closed to the forward remaining in Madrid.
Rodrygo is yet to make a firm decision, hesitating on what he should do. Though he has “one foot out of Real Madrid”, he’s waiting for a conversation with Alonso to find out what his plans are. After that, he’ll make his decision.

TalkSPORT reported earlier this week that Arsenal are genuine contenders for Rodrygo, with the player believed to be unsettled at Real Madrid and sources claiming a move to north London is a possibility.
Alex Crook claimed he’d received a message from a source saying to “keep an eye on Arsenal and Rodrygo” ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
ESPN’s Sam Marsden confirmed on the show that there’s “more than a suggestion” Real Madrid could cash in on Rodrygo this summer, and he seems to be being pushed towards the door.
And James McNicholas reported for The Athletic this week that Arteta is a fan of Rodrygo, though the finances of a potential deal would be challenging

AS have previously reported that Real Madrid would be willing to negotiate for €100m (£84.2m) or more. The 24-year-old has another 23 goals and assists in 50 appearances this season, after racking up 27 goals and assists in 52 games last campaign.
Though he may not be at his best right now, with one goal in all competitions since the start of February, the talent is clearly there. This could be a good time to pounce and get the 24-year-old winger firing again.
