Giants Fans Receive Awful News In Roster Ranking

The good news? Inarguably, the New York Giants 2025 roster is improved from last year's dismal 3-14 team.

The awful news for Giants fans?

They still might be a last-place team in the NFC East ... and a bottom-feeder in the NFL.

Upgrading from Daniel Jones to Russell Wilson is a start. The offensive weaponry is better and the defensive front is loaded.

And yet, Bleacher Report nevertheless lists the Giants as owning one of the worst rosters in the NFL, despite “winning” the offseason.

“The Giants may be better than they were during last year's 3-14 season, but they can't expect monumental improvements with a marginal quarterback room,'' B/R says.

The math is simple here: It might take 10 wins to be a playoff team, and with all of the inprovements and the recognized talent? With defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence being joined by rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter and with receiver Malik Nabers having a solid QB throwing to him?

There are certainly too holes and spots without much upside to find an extra seven wins.

In the B/R ranking, the Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns are the only clubs ranked as worse than the Giants. ... and maybe fans can hope that New York proves to be better than those crummy squads.

And maybe there are more than 3 wins in here.

But that's not supposed to be the goal. Being "good'' is the goal. And it seems as if the Giants are not there yet.
