Chelsea loaned out several players last summer, and a couple of them have managed to make a really good impression this season.
Andrey Santos, who joined Chelsea‘s sister club Strasbourg, is one example. He has really shone under Liam Rosenior.
Santos scored in Strasbourg’s final game of the campaign, his 10th in all competitions. It is a return most midfielders would be happy with.
Djordje Petrovic, who has also been at Strasbourg, has played well, too, and that has not gone unnoticed.

Clubs ready to bid for Djordje Petrovic
Petrovic won the Player of the Season award at Strasbourg after an excellent campaign, an excellent campaign that other clubs have taken notice of.
Journalist Simon Phillips has just shared on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that a number of clubs are now ready to make an “appealing” permanent offer for the goalkeeper.
The Blues are unlikely to be against a sale, with Phillips also claiming that both Enzo Maresca and the club’s sporting directors have doubts about Petrovic’s ability on the ball.

If Petrovic does not extend his stay at Strasbourg and returns to Chelsea, the Ligue 1 outfit could target another shot-stopper in west London.

It is thought that Bayer Leverkusen are ready to bid for Petrovic, who is also attracting interest in England.
Chelsea’s rivals Leeds United like Petrovic as well, so they are another club who could make a bid for the 25-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.
Some Chelsea fans will feel that Petrovic deserves a chance after his performances for Strasbourg, which he could yet get. But an exit cannot be ruled out, especially if the Blues go on to sign a new goalkeeper themselves.
