Kieran Tierney was handed a huge Arsenal ovation as he took to the Emirates turf for the final time.
The defender is heading back to Celtic this summer after penning a pre-contract and has turned out for the Gunners in front of the home support for the last time.
Mikel Arteta subbed on the Scotland full-back in the final minutes and the fans showed their appreciation as they loudly cheered when he came onto the pitch in place of Leandro Trossard for the last few moments.
They also chanted Tierney's name in a touching moment for the defender.
The Gunners ran out 1-0 winners over Newcastle to all but secure second spot in the English Premier League and with that guarantee their spot in the Champions League next season.
