Barcelona boss Hansi Flick says he already knows how he wants to strengthen his team ahead of the summer window.
Flick is celebrating after winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup in his first season in charge but is already looking to the future.
Asked about transfers after Barca’s defeat to Villarreal, Flick admitted he knows what he wants and now needs to talk with the club.
“I have a clear idea of what I want for the future,” he told reporters. “I’ve already said that I’ll talk to Deco about it, because we’ll devote the necessary time to it. There are always things that can be improved, but in the end it has been a fantastic season.”
It’s been reported that Barca want to add a full-back, center-back and a left winger to the squad in time for the 2025-26 season.
President Joan Laporta has also been bullish about the club’s ability to sign players, althought doubts do remain due to the club’s continued financial pressures.
