Packers ticket resellers busier than ever after schedule release

COMBINED LOCKS, Wis. (WBAY) - If you’re a fan hoping to buy tickets for any of the upcoming home games this season for the Green Bay Packers, it won’t be cheap.

John Schmidt, owner of Schmitty’s Tickets in Combined Locks, says he’s been getting a lot of calls from people looking to buy, driving demand and prices up.

This is especially true for the Week 12 match-up against the Vikings and the Week 14 home game against the Bears.

At this point, Schmidt says tickets are the highest he’s ever seen, and that may be because of the growing popularity of seeing Jordan Love as QB.

“This is the highest I’ve ever seen on prices, but this is also the highest prices we’ve ever seen season tickets at, as far as the cost of what your season ticket holder has to pay. They’ve got one attraction. Of course, you’ve got your good running back and you’ve got your wide receivers who are all good, but they come to see the quarterback,” says Schmidt.

Once the season starts, prices, as always, will go up or down depending on how well the Packers do during the first few weeks.
