Fit-again captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen lifted the trophy with his team-mates as Hansi Flick’s side celebrating doing the double in his first season in charge.
There was plenty of fun on the pitch as players and their families got to enjoy themselves after a long and thrilling campaign under the German coach.
Ter Stegen missed most of the campaign through injury but admitted this title still felt special for him and his team-mates.
“I’ve won a few titles with this club, and this one was special because I’m back in great shape. Things are valued much more,” he said afterwards. “We can be proud of this team for the titles and how they were achieved.”
His manager was also a happy man, saying: “I’m really happy, the city is amazing and this is a wonderful club.”
