Former Arsenal defender William Gallas has said that the Gunners would be able to take Alexander Isak to the next level if they signed him.
The Gunners are hoping to end the season on a high with a Premier League game against Newcastle for their last home game of the season on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta will be looking ahead to the summer transfer window, where a striker will remain the priority for the Gunners. They have been linked to signing Newcastle star Alexander Isak, who is expected to cost upwards of £150m.
Isak has scored 23 goals in 32 Premier League games for the Magpies this season, showing himself to being one of the best in the world right now. However, former Arsenal defender Gallas believes that signing for Arsenal would take the Sweden international to the next level.
William Gallas, speaking to Genting Casino, who offer the latest Casino Games, said: “Arsenal can help Alexander Isak reach the next level as a player. Newcastle have tried but it’s going to be very difficult for them to be in title contention.
“Arsenal have experience of being towards the top of the table now and although they haven’t won the title in so long, they have been so close. I think Arsenal have a different class of players, they have more experience, I think it would help him improve and reach the next level as well as Arsenal.”
However, seeing as Newcastle look likely to end in a Champions League spot, they will most likely be unwilling to sell the striker, so Arsenal may have to look at alternative targets.
Arsenal could sign Gyokeres instead
Looking at the most recent transfer news, Arsenal look more likely to instead land Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres, who will be available for around £60m.
Gyokeres has scored 38 goals in 32 league games in Portugal, and has been linked with Arsenal for a long time now.
Sporting Director Andrea Berta is reportedly very keen to bring Gyokeres to the Emirates, so at this stage, he would be more likely than Isak.
