Four-star forward JJ Andrews commits to Arkansas

JJ Andrews, the No. 42 overall recruit in the 2026 class, has announced his commitment to Arkansas.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward out of Little Rock (Ark.) Christian Academy committed to the Razorbacks over Missouri and LSU.

Andrews is a big recruiting win for John Calipari and the Arkansas staff holding off a strong fight from Missouri and LSU.

The Razorbacks were the hometown team for Andrews but had to make up significant ground in recent weeks to come from behind and ultimately win this recruitment.

For Arkansas, it's of significant importance to the program and to fans to keep the talent in-state and they accomplished a big win in Andrews, whose father, Shawn, played football for the Razorbacks before playing in the NFL.
