Will Jaire Alexander remain with the Green Bay Packers fans in 2025? This has been the biggest question for the team since the end of the 2024 season.

They have made moves in the offseason that dominated the headlines but fans always go back to the situation of the 28-year-old star cornerback.
Team’s coaches faced reporters last week. However, their answers are not leading to anything.
Defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley is not planning ahead when it comes to his system. He previously praised the line-up and its potential but when asked about possible return of Alexander, he said he would not deal with hypotheticals.
“I think we’ll leave that one up to see what happens rather than talk in any hypotheticals. I’d rather not talk about hypotheticals,” he said.

Defensive passing game coordinator Derrick Ansley, meanwhile, has a different update. He revealed that the two-time Pro Bowl is looking good.
“I don’t want to speak too soon, knock on wood, but he’s looking really good out there,” he said.
More trade rumors involving Jaire Alexander
Alexander did not attend the team’s workout two weeks ago. Head coach Matt LaFleur can only say that they working through it when asked about his player’s absence.
Packers are in a tight place when it comes to Alexander’s issue. They will find it hard to trade him because of his injury history and expensive contract.
If he goes somewhere else, the team might not get someone valuable in return.
The team is now being urged to sign a cheaper replacement in Rasul Douglas from the Buffalo Bills. NFL Trade Rumors’ Logan Ulrich said the Packers are sleepers to sign him.

“Douglas would likely be cheaper and while he doesn’t have Alexander’s ceiling, he has been more durable over the past few years,” he wrote.
“There’s a new defensive staff in Green Bay different than the one Douglas played for but there are plenty of people still familiar with him in the building.”
