The Green Bay Packers were the NFC’s No. 7 seed a year ago, then lost their playoff opener.

The Packers have the NFL’s sixth-toughest schedule in 2025 based on opponent’s winning percentage from 2024.

According to DraftKings, though, it could be a big year in the NFL’s smallest city. That website lists Green Bay as favorites in [13 of its 17 games this season.](https://www.forbes.com/sites/robreischel/2025/05/14/the-good-bad-and-ugly-from-the-green-bay-packers-2025-schedule/)

Interestingly, that same website also lists the over-under on the Packers’ win total at 9.5 games.

Taken on a game-by-game basis, though, DraftKings believes Green Bay will easily exceed that win total.

The Packers are favored in each of their first eight games, including Weeks 1-2 when they host Detroit and Washington. Both of those teams won more games and advanced further in the postseason than Green Bay did a year ago.

The first time the Packers are an underdog doesn’t come until Week 10, when they host defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia. The Eagles are currently a 1.5-point favorite for that Monday Night Football contest.

Green Bay is also an underdog at Detroit on Thanksgiving (+2.5), at Denver in Week 15 (+1.5) and home against Baltimore in Week 17 (+1.5).

The Packers are favored by a field goal, or less, in eight of 13 games where they’re projected to win. Green Bay’s best odds of winning come in Week 9, when it’s a 7.5-point favorite against visiting Carolina.

The Packers had a relatively quiet offseason following their 11-6 campaign in 2024.

Green Bay gave hefty free agent contracts to guard Aaron Banks (four years, $77 million) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (four years, $48 million). The draft was highlighted by the additions of first round wide receiver Matthew Golden and third round wideout Savion Williams.
