Nantz Thrilled About 'Epic' Bills vs. Chiefs 2025 Showdown

No rivalry in the NFL has been more intense, or carried more weight than the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.

While the Bills have been successful against the Chiefs during the regular season in recent years, they have yet to beat the AFC champions in any of their many playoff matchups.

Making things even worse was the fact the Bills have lost playoff games to the Chiefs in excruciatingly painful fashion. While Buffalo is doing what they can to make sure their playoff struggles come to an end, they will have to gear up for a mid-season showdown against their rivals.

And no one is more excited about it than lead CBS play-by-play man Jim Nantz for the matchup.

"You think of the epic matchups, most recently the AFC Championship Game, but last year in the regular season. That's the game where Josh broke free on a 4th-and-2 and they went for it, from 27 yards out and he ran it all the way in, bounding off defenders and won the game up in Buffalo in the regular season," said Nantz. "The epic divisional playoff game a few years ago. The 42-36 shootout in overtime, which really changed the overtime rules for the postseason. So, yea, there's a lot to love about that."

Nantz has called the last few matchups between the Bills and the Chiefs recently including their 32-29 loss to Kansas City for the right to go to Super Bowl LIX.

As the Bills prepare for another showdown with their playoff rivals, the rest of the league will be prepared and excited for the regular season showdown to start.
