Arsenal have all but wrapped up second place, with Champions League football in the bag and just one match to go in the 2024-25 Premier League season.
The Gunners clinched their spot in Europe's top club competition for the third consecutive year after nicking a 1-0 victory over Newcastle at the Emirates on Sunday. Declan Rice's thunderbolt sealed the deal, a fitting follow-up to his stellar performance against Real Madrid in this season's Champions League.
Mikel Arteta has thrown down the gauntlet to Arsenal's top brass, including new sporting director Andrea Berta, after the win. "Finish the season, go to the beach, enjoy a few days and make sure the ones upstairs they do what they have to do," Arteta declared post-match, reports the Mirror.
Despite backing his squad's graft this season, the boss is adamant that the team needs beefing up. The Gunners' early chase for Martin Zubimendi was a clear sign of ambition, but it's their hunt for a new frontman that's set to dominate the summer headlines. Here's all the latest Arsenal transfer news.

In a transfer bombshell, it's reported the 26-year-old striker is 'heading to Arsenal' according to Monday's edition of Portuguese publication O Jogo.
While personal terms still need ironing out, the piece claims Gyokeres' Emirates switch is all but a done deal after celebrating his Primeira Liga title win on Saturday.

Manchester United are on the cusp of landing long-time Arsenal target Matheus Cunha.
The Gunners were heavily linked to the 25-year-old in the winter transfer window before he penned a fresh deal with Wolves.
However, it appears that commitment was short-lived, with an Italian report suggesting the Brazilian is poised to join United.
Other sources indicate Arsenal attempted to swoop in on Cunha's £62.5m Old Trafford move, but the Wolves ace has his heart set on reuniting with gaffer Ruben Amorim.
That desire is seemingly steadfast even if it means no European football next term - dependant on whether the Old Trafford outfit can defeat Arsenal's bitter rivals Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday and qualify for the Champions League as a result.
Kroenke delivers four-word promise
Arsenal co-chairman Josh Kroenke peeled back the curtain on their summer transfer strategy in his programme notes for the Newcastle clash.
The Emirates chief dropped the news all Gunners fans were dying to hear ahead of a pivotal summer. "We plan to invest to get behind winning and doing better next season," Kroenke penned.
"We're delighted we have our sporting director, Andrea, who will play an important role in this.
