Manchester United are among a host Premier League clubs showing interest in a summer move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, journalist Anthony Chapman has revealed.
The Red Devils reportedly plan to re-enter the race for the Frenchman after the season, having previously made a move for him in the January window.
Ruben Amorim is said to be a huge admirer of the 27-year-old forward and believes Nkunku's Premier League experience makes him a ‘superb’ option for his looming Old Trafford rebuild.
Nkunku is ‘pushing’ for an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, just two years after Chelsea spent £52m to sign him from RB Leipzig.

According to Chapman, competition for Nkunku’s signature is expected to be fierce this summer, with as many as six Premier League and European clubs vying for the France international.
While Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Man United are among his admirers in England, Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also monitoring his situation closely.
Chelsea would reportedly prefer Nkunku to leave for a club abroad, as Enzo Maresca ‘knows’ that selling him to a Premier League rival would be risky.
Nkunku, praised as ‘incredible’, has endured a frustrating campaign at Stamford Bridge, making just nine Premier League starts and scoring three goals.
The £300,000-a-week forward last featured in Chelsea’s shock Conference League quarter-final second-leg loss at home to Legia Warsaw in April and remains sidelined with a knock.
Man United are heavily focused on bringing in attacking reinforcements early this summer and are in advanced talks to make Wolves star Matheus Cunha their first arrival.
