FC Barcelona had four of their players playing away on loan at the end of the last summer transfer window, i.e., Clement Lenglet, Oriol Romeu, Vitor Roque, and Alex Valle.
However, none of these players is likely to remain at the Blaugrana club for the next season. One of these players, Vitor Roque, has already permanently left the club, while Lenglet and Romeu are also highly unlikely to get a place in Hansi Flick’s team next season.
Alex Valle understands his future lies away from Barcelona
Alex Valle, who played for Celtic and Como on loan this season, could have had a chance of returning to the Catalan team, particularly because they were looking for fullbacks to add more depth to this important area of the team.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, his future is not going to remain linked with Barcelona, and the player understands that he will have to find a new team this summer.
As things stand, there are two notable clubs vying for his signature. One of them is Cesc Fabregas’ Como, where the defender is currently playing and which is the best-positioned club for his signing. Meanwhile, the German side Borussia Dortmund is also interested in him.

Three clubs have shown an interest in him
The player and the Catalan club are yet to speak about his future, but both the parties already understand that his future lies away from Barcelona. His position is well-covered by Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martin, and convinced with the latter’s performances in the last few weeks, Flick is not looking to add a third player for this position.
Meanwhile, the Spaniard himself has played regularly for Como, and the Italian side has already contacted the Blaugranes to express their desire of retaining the defender. They are currently negotiating the player’s signing below his €6 million release clause, while Dortmund and Real Betis have also expressed their interest.
Alex Valle was trained at La Masia, and despite having played under Flick in the last preseason, he has spent the last two seasons away on loan, and it remains to be seen whether he will leave Barcelona permanently this summer.
