Frankie Luvu's journey to the NFL is one of the more fascinating in league history. Originally an undrafted free agent out of Washington State, Luvu was picked up by the Jets, and later the Carolina Panthers where he developed a reputation as an athletic weapon on the defensive side of the ball.

Now an All-Pro player on the Washington Commanders, Luvu is ready to tell his story about the people who helped him reach his current standing, and how he got to the NFL in the first place.

In Youtube's Documentary, "Frankie Luvu's Journey: From American Somoa to NFL Stardom," the veteran linebacker shared how his his brother Frazier, who committed suicide in 2021, helped save the veteran's career at point.

"Halfway through my second (NFL) year, I was like, 'Man, I'm done,'" Luvu shares. "Frazier, he's the one that kind of just gets me on the straight and narrow and just be like, 'Man, you're here for a reason. You're getting tested right now through your faith in your darkest moments.'

"He pushed me through that, and I found a light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm grateful for that."

Luvu has been emotional about his brother's passing for years now. He continues to play with him in his mind and heart. Along the way, the linebacker has also caught excellence with the Commanders, helping to lead a defense that was one of the most underrated groups in the league last season.

As the veteran prepares for his eighth season, Luvu's story is about to be told, and highlight the remarkable journey it took to get him to where he is now.
