There are many athletes from different sports who have made an impact in the realm of professional wrestling. Stars such as Pat McAfee, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, NFL Star Rob Gronkowski, and many more. Another NBA star who has been featured on WWE Television frequently is Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton.
Last night on Monday Night Raw, it was announced earlier on the show that Tyrese Haliburton was going to make a massive announcement.
The NBA star made an appearance on the show via satellite. He was interviewed by both Pat McAfee and Michael Cole. During the interview, the announcement was made that Haliburton will be making his WWE 2K Games debut on the latest WWE 2K25 video game. He will be a part of the WWE 2K25 Dunk and Destruction Season Pack. The Pack is expected to be released on June 25th, 2025. The other stars who have been announced as part of the pack are TNA Wrestling veteran Abyss and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali.
Last month, WWE released the New Wave Pack. As part of the pack, stars such as former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, the current NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer, and former WWE Tag Team Champions Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns.
The Dunk and Destruction pack still has a few slots remaining, meaning a couple more basketball stars are likely to be added.
