Champions League finalists prepared to sell one of their top players in order to sign £35m Chelsea star - journalist

Chelsea are currently preparing for their own European final as they look ahead to the Conference League matchup with Real Betis in Poland next week.

Enzo Maresca has been left fuming as their opponents have two extra days rest after La Liga agreed to move their last league fixture of the season.

The Blues have a huge Premier League game to navigate first. They will take on Nottingham Forest knowing a win will see them qualify for the Champions League for next season.

The dream is to be back amongst the big players in European football, including the likes of Inter Milan and PSG, who will contest the final this season.

Inter Milan prepared to sell Yann Bisseck to sign Chelsea star

The Serie A side will be hoping their strong structure and defensive brilliance can come out on top, with one of the players frequently featuring being Yann Bisseck.

The defender has enjoyed a solid campaign at the back, however it looks as if he may be on the market should Inter have the chance at signing one of their targets from Chelsea.

According to Santi Aouna, Inter have Benoit Badiashile at the top of their list if they lose out on the German.

He said: “Understand West Ham United are interested in Yann Bisseck. Inter Milan are ready to sell their CB in case of good proposal in the summer. Benoit Badiashile is one of the main names on the shortlist of Inter Milan.”

Badiashile’s uncertain future

Sitting behind Levi Colwill in the pecking order to feature on the left of the back two, the future does not look too secure for Badiashile at Stamford Bridge.

He has again suffered with injuries this season, meaning he has only been able to feature in five Premier League games this season.

His best chance at making another appearance this campaign will come in the Conference League final, however the likelihood that Maresca deploys his best possible team could see him drop to the bench.
