Joe Burrow ‘Disappointed’ Bengals Do Not Play International Game

Last week, the NFL officially unveiled the schedule for all 32 teams in the league, but Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow is not exactly happy with one aspect of his team's schedule.

Many players throughout the NFL like to avoid playing international games, given the rigors of the NFL schedule and the amount of time involved in traveling overseas. However, Burrow is actually frustrated at the lack of an international game for the Bengals this season.

The Bengals have not played an overseas game since Burrow entered the league. And during a recent press conference, he made it pretty clear that he's not happy about that after he's made intentional efforts to help grow the game across the globe.

"Maybe an international game next year," Burrow said during a press conference when he was asked about the team's schedule this season. "You know, part of the reason I wanted to do the [Netflix] Quarterback show [is because] I wanted to help grow the game internationally, so to not have a stage like that is a little disappointing.

"I feel like I've consciously worked hard to try to grow the game internationally over the last 18 months or so," Burrow added. "So, hopefully at some point in my career, we can go over there."

Burrow is obviously one of the league's biggest stars and one of the most popular players in the world, so it would make sense for the league to give the Bengals an overseas game at some point in the future.

We'll have to see whether or not Burrow gets his wish.
