Antonio Brown had a brief tenure with the New England Patriots alongside Tom Brady after the end of his Pittsburgh Steelers tenure.
During that brief time, Brown and Brady fostered a relationship for one another that would end up carrying over to Tampa Bay, where the Buccaneers would bring Brown aboard.
Despite just a brief stay in New England, Bill Belichick saw plenty of notable interactions between Brown and Brady in that short time.
One of the odd things connecting the two was $5,000 milk that Brown bought for Brady. Brady, who takes the preparation off the field just as seriously as he does on the field, used the milk religiously as part of his regiment.
One time, however, Belichick did Brown a solid. The milk got mixed up in the facility and went sour, so Belichick replaced the expensive milk to keep the peace.
“To make a long story short, it kinda got mixed up and it ended up in the mail room for too long,” Belichick said on the Pivot. “The milk went bad. Sometimes you just gotta do the right thing. And I didn’t wanna ruin the relationship between Brown and Brady on this spoiled milk. So, we spent $5,000 to replace his milk.”
Brown stayed at Brady’s house during his short time with the Patriots. That stint lasted just 11 days for the talented wide receiver, but they did reunite with the Buccaneers, where Brown won a Super Bowl with Brady.
