According to a fresh update from Fichajes, Real Madrid have zeroed in on one of the brightest young stars in Portuguese football, namely, Rodrigo Mora.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has enjoyed a breakout season with FC Porto and is now firmly on the radar of Los Blancos, who continue to double down on their strategy of investing in elite young talent.
Mora’s rise has been nothing short of sensational. In his debut professional season in the Primeira Liga, he registered 11 goals and 4 assists, a remarkable return for a teenager operating in midfield.
His performances have not only made him indispensable to Porto’s attacking structure but have also earned him his first senior call-up to the Portuguese national team for the upcoming UEFA Nations League final four.

Mora’s inclusion in the national team at such a young age is a testament to his raw ability and tactical intelligence, and Real Madrid appear to be ready to move before other European heavyweights join the race.
It must be noted that Mora recently renewed his contract with Porto until 2030, and it includes a €70 million release clause.
However, that figure does not intimidate Real Madrid. The club has long been willing to pay top dollar for potential superstars if they feel the player is worth the effort and Mora could well be the next in line.
With the club already securing Dean Huijsen and potentially Alvaro Carreras, the pursuit of Mora highlights Real Madrid’s ambition to build a generational squad capable of dominating Europe over the next decade.
Mora’s technical skill, attacking vision, and goal threat from midfield fit perfectly with the club’s footballing DNA, and there is a growing sense within the Spanish capital that he may soon wear the white of Madrid.
