The Bears have essentially rebuilt their offensive line. So, what do my four NFL horsemen think of that rebuild? Again, I went with specific questions, as opposed to player evaluations.
**This question is going to be VERY simplistic but…is Braxton Jones a good left tackle?** _“Yes. That’s exactly what he is. He’s good. You can upgrade the position, without question, but you can also get a lot worse. I’m not surprised the Bears left their tackles alone because they desperately needed three starters inside. But I don’t think Jones is ever going to be one of the best players at that position.”_
**What worries you about the Bears offensive line?** _“There is almost zero depth. But I tell you all the time, there is very little depth around the league now. The financial structure doesn’t allow it. That’s why we’re paying position coaches as much as we are. They have to drain everything they can from these bench guys. The worries are the tackles, for me. The right tackle is a good player but I expected him to be a star and he hasn’t been that. The left tackle is average.”_
**What does Joe Thuney bring to Chicago?** _“Joe is one of the best football players in the league. Honestly, he won’t take shit. Everybody will do everything right because he won’t allow anything else. I’m not sure anybody hates losing more than Joe. That’s why he didn’t hesitate when Andy asked him to move outside, a position he had no business playing. He wants to win and he’ll do everything he can to achieve that.”_

**Grade this unit (asked to all four):** _“A- / B+ / B (with potential to be A-) / B+”_
