Viktor Gyokeres has joked to his Sporting Lisbon team-mates that "he's not a fortune teller" after being repeatedly asked if he is leaving this summer.
The Sweden striker is the subject of major interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal. Gyokeres has had an impressive campaign, scoring 53 goals and providing 13 assists in 51 games, and could end the season with two trophies.
Sporting have already won the league and face rivals Benfica in the Portuguese Cup final on Sunday. After that, transfer talks are expected to intensify, with Sporting reportedly willing to sell Gyokeres for £60million.
Gyokeres' team-mate, Pedro Goncalves, revealed that he and other players have asked Gyokeres about his future, but he has remained tight-lipped. "I asked him and we all asked him. He says he's not a fortune teller. We still have the Portuguese Cup against Benfica to play," Goncalves told Canal 11.
"I have a very good relationship with him, but I don't talk about it with him. What I know is because of Fabrizio Romano... I'm sticking with him. I don't know if he's going to leave."

Arsenal are set to break the bank in their pursuit of a top-tier striker this summer, with new sporting director Andrea Berta putting Gyokeres at the top of his wish list. The Gunners are confident they've jumped to the front of the line by indicating to Sporting that they're prepared to strike a deal early and pay the Swedish international handsomely.
RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko has also been on Arsenal's radar, but Gyokeres' impressive goal tally has made him a standout candidate. Earlier this year, the Swede expressed his ambition to play for "one of the best teams in Europe" soon, and Arsenal's Champions League semi-final run could be a deciding factor.
Goncalves is convinced that his teammate is primed for a high-profile transfer. "I feel like he's evolved a lot since he arrived," he said. "There are training sessions where it seems like he's holding back."

United have also shown interest in Gyokeres, who thrived under Ruben Amorim's guidance in Lisbon, but they have other players in their sights too. They're currently negotiating a £62.5m deal for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, while Ipswich's Liam Delap is also on their radar for £30m.
Sporting are keen to make a deal and have agreed to let Gyokeres go for less than his release clause as a token of gratitude for his exceptional service. He's reportedly available for £60m – significantly lower than his rumoured £83.6m release clause.
