Myles Lewis-Skelly has been named Arsenal’s scholar of the year for this season, as reported by the [club’s official website](https://www.arsenal.com/news/lewis-skelly-and-smith-recognised-youth-awards).
Despite technically still being a second year, Lewis-Skelly has enjoyed a tremendous breakthrough campaign which has encompassed him making 38 senior appearances, scoring once.
Lewis-Skelly also broke into the England senior squad and scored on his debut against Albania.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal academy goalkeeper Tom Smith, who now plays for Colchester United, won the academy graduate award.
Smith received a first class degree in economics from University College London.
