Bill Belichick, long-time New England Patriots coach known for his cutoff sleeves and no nonsense approach to life, is a changed man thanks to his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, a former cheerleading national champion and Miss Maine pageant second runner-up. He’s on Instagram taking staged mermaid fishing photos with her, doing beach yoga, and now he has changed the name of his boat to honor Hudson.
Belichick has a home in Nantucket which he purchased last Summer for $4.8 million. He also has a boat that he uses to ferry himself and belongings to and from Nantucket, a boat that was aptly named ‘VIII Rings‘ to represent the 8 Super Bowl rings Bill Belichick has won… The boat has a new name.
While we cannot say with 100% certainty that the new boat’s name, ‘I + VIII Rings,’ is referring to Jordon Hudson‘s cheerleading national championship there is really no other reasonable possibility here. It’s a near certainty that Bill changed his boat’s name to include Jordon Hudson’s 2021 National Cheerleaders Association collegiate championship in Daytona Beach, Florida. Evidence emerged of the name change and TMZ Sports was quick to snatch it up.

This is all on the heels of engagement rumors between the happy couple.
Following the video, TMZ Sports reported “Bill Belichick’s beloved boat just got a new paint job … and the fresh coat is only fueling the rumors he and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are engaged. Graphics on the side of the ride show eight rings now encircle the bottom of the R in the boat’s name, while another ring wraps around the upper portion of the letter.”
Ultimately, this should not come as a surprise. She flaunts her championship ring everywhere, a ring which was previously mistaken to be one of Belichick’s, a mistake she cleared up on Instagram.
Y’all, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Bill Belichick, the NFL coach synonymous with never smiling or showing any real emotion, changed his boat’s name to honor his 24-year-old girlfriend who is apparently currently telling people they are engaged. At some point we all have to give in and love love, right?
If this isn’t true love I don’t know what is. The name of a man’s boat is sacred. Bill knows this. That’s why he named his boat to honor all 8 of his Super Bowl rings with the Pats and Giants.
I took a ‘Greek and Latin Elements in the English Language’ class back in undergrad at FSU where we had to come up with a new word and for that paper I came up with a new boat name, The Purgonautrix, which translates to ‘She Who Cleans Sailors.’ Did I get a perfect score on that assignment? I 100% did.
