Barcelona have announced that first-team coach Hansi Flick has [signed a new contract extension at the club](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/4/29/24419235/hansi-flick-reaches-agreement-in-principle-over-new-barcelona-deal-until-2027) after a successful first season in charge.
The German coach has won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup in his debut campaign and has now penned an extension until 2027.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:
> “FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick have reached an agreement for the renewal of his contract which will tie him to the Club until 30 June 2027.

> “The German coach has signed a new contract on Wednesday at the Club offices in the presence of FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, first vice president Rafa Yuste and the Club’s sporting director, Anderson Luis de Souza “Deco”, amongst others.”
The deal is good news for Barcelona and Flick as he starts to look forward to his second year in charge in Catalunya.
