Alex Valle set to seal €6m permanent move to Como

Barcelona defender Alex Valle looks set to complete a permanent move to Serie A side Como after spending time on loan with Cesc Fabregas’s side.

Valle switched from Celtic to Como in the winter and has gone on to make 14 appearances in the Italian flight for his new club.

According to Jijantes, Valle will move permanently even though his initial loan deal did not include a purchase option.

Como will splash out an initial €4m plus another €2m in variables to add 21-year-old Valle to the squad permanently.

Valle had looked a good prospect for Barcelona but Hansi Flick does have plenty of options at left-back going into the new season.

Alejandro Balde will be first choice and Gerard Martin - who Flick seems to value highly - set to be back-up once again.

Young Jofre Torrents is also one to keep an eye on and has recently signed a new contract.
