The "Tush Push" will remain legal for NFL teams in 2025 following a vote that took place during the league's spring meetings on Wednesday. The New Orleans Saints were reportedly one of the teams that voted in favor of keeping the play legal.
New Saints head coach Kellen Moore's previous job was as the Philadelphia Eagles offensive' coordinator, and the the Tush Push was a prominent piece of their scheme. Moore had previously re-affirmed his supported of the Tush Push.
"There’s no injury data," Moore said at league meetings. "Percentage-wise, the likelihood of converting on it is pretty much the same as every other run. I don’t see any issues."
To celebrate the news of the Tush Push staying, the Eagles' social media team uploaded a 26-minute video compilation of the team running the play.
The NFL needed 24 votes to ban the Tush Push, but only received 22. The 10 teams who voted in favor of the rule, as reported by ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter were the: Saints, Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans.

The Tush Push is when an offense lines up, often in short yard situations, and runs a quarterback sneak with some shoving help from backfield teammates from behind.
