Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is making the rounds around town this offseason.
We saw him at both Nuggets and Avalanche games, and now he’ll head to a Rockies contest.
And (sort of) be part of the action at Coors Field before the Rockies and New York Yankees square off on Friday night.
According to 9NEWS and 104.3 The Fan Broncos insider Mike Klis, Nix will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The game is slated to start at 6:40 p.m. MT, so getting to your seat by 6:15 or so would be wise.

This is cool for Bo Nix and nice he’s doing it after he actually won something. Nix and the Broncos went 10-7 a season ago and the franchise made the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
Former Denver QB Russell Wilson threw the first pitch at the season-opener in 2022, with plenty of security for he and his famous wife Ciara, but had yet to take a snap in orange and blue. The Broncos eventually went 5-12 in an absolutely disastrous campaign for Wilson and the whole team.
But Nix has earned this right. Even though the Rockies are the worst team in MLB with a pathetic 8-40 record, you have to think Coors Field will be nearly full. Not only should it be a gorgeous Colorado spring night, but the Yankees are always going to draw a mob of their fans.
Hopefully, folks will arrive early enough to support Bo Nix. He’s definitely the best QB this town has seen since Peyton Manning. And will be worth watching more than whatever the Rockies do that night.
