The Los Angeles Rams faced the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round and lost 28-22.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Rams were among the teams that voted against the infamous "tush push" on Tuesday. The Eagles had 13 of their 2025 opponents vote to ban the play.

The Rams play the Eagles on Sept. 21 during Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season.

The Rams clinched the NFC West to earn a playoff spot and drew the Minnesota Vikings in the first round. The franchise advanced after winning 27-9.

After beating the Rams, the Eagles knocked out the Washington Commanders and won the Super Bowl after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs.

The rest of the NFC West was among the teams that voted to ban the "tush push."

The 10 teams that voted against the ban were the Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans.

The Eagles were not afraid to use their special play last season. In 2024, they were successful on 28 of 34 "tush push" attempts.

For the Rams this offseason, fans made a push of their own to bring back cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey was last with the franchise from 2019-22.

The franchise has shed talent in the offseason, recently losing offensive lineman Joseph Noteboom to the Ravens. Noteboom's four-year, $40 million contract expired in 2025, and he became a free agent, per Spotrac.

The schedules for every team in the 2025 season have been released, and the Rams open the year with the Houston Texans on Sept. 7.
